It had been a busy few weeks for Jinx, but not the right kind of busy.
No if anything it was the kind of busy hat she hated. The kind where she had to go out of her way to find things to do. The only thing worse then that was busywork that was pointless like the kind a substitute teacher assigns the class just to keep them busy.
Still idle hands were the devil's playthings, and as much as Jinx liked sin she couldn't let herself grow too listless. It was maddening to have so much potential in a place and have none of it used.
However on the flip side of things, after she had spent her time plotting out escape routes into the city and setting up hideouts by hiding entrances and clearing out debris...she deserved a rest.
And so with her plant suit on (Because she hadn't figured out if there was a way to change it's shape yet) she lounged in a kiddy pool on the roof of a building, a portable music player from the media library set to random, and some cool refreshing juice brought up from the tavern.
Life was good.
She was in a multiverse crossing ship with a bunch of crazy superpowered freaks and geeks from across every known reality fighting giant bugs and living inside a sort of bio-technological hybrid.
So Life was weird...but good.
Care to relax with her? Or ruin her relaxation?
