Though quite the elusive figure most of the time, Brother Cargn Thane's presence among the crew has been even more scarce as of late.

"So, this is where you conduct your studies?"

"My work on the Map, yes," he replies thoughtfully after a moment. "Most of the crew use these rooms for simple entertainment, but it is also the part of the ship where psychic energy flows most freely. Quite useful for this line of work."

"...so I imagine it would flow quite well."
And then her attention turns back to the Map. "Discovered anything of interest?"

He looks over at the orb, which pulsed slightly at its mention.
"It seems that the Map is a small portion of the Tapestry itself, making it both map and key. Which makes its protection even more vital than before."

The demon that walked into the sensorium was very much not that.
"Oh good," he said. "I wanted to have a word with you."
(Of course, it was very hard not to recognize that voice.)

"Yes? I suppose now is as good a time as any for such things," he replied wearily.

Even if she did run around almost everywhere like a chicken with her head cut off, and now with those children running about wildly... well, Stacy was very rarely boring, that was for certain. When it appeared that Cargn was resting, she very quietly and neatly entered the sensorium with a pot of tea and the very large tea cup she'd bought especially for him.
Miku summoned a table beside Cargn's chair, knelt expertly beside it and placed the tray down. Wordlessly, his student handed him a cup of dark, orangish tea, which smelt faintly of citrus.

"Thank you, Miku," he said wearily. "I'm sorry I haven't had more time to speak with you, child. My time seems to be rather occupied, as of late."
Reply
"Have you made very much progress?"

"Some," he said, sounding a bit more refreshed. "Though it will be a while yet before the Map will permit me to use it in its intended manner. It has a habit of being rather vague in its directions, even moreso than I do."
That last bit was said with a bit of a wry grin.
