"Sounds like you're a little out of shape!" a voice called out. From a small seat nearby, Vivio was watching "Nagi" running around. Frankly, she could probably stand to get back into training herself. She'd been a bit out of it since the whole "Spamalot" incident...

"Vivio!" exclaimed Nagi, grinning at her as he brushed sweat-soaked hair out of his face. "Well, there's a little reason for that, but I do think the long hours of inactivity doesn't help at all."

Walking over, water bottle in hand he sighed. "Turned off my magic. I'm pretty much at the 'athletic human' level right now."

"Turned off your magic?" Vivio said, standing up to join Nagi. "Why would you do something like that for?"

It sounded silly, but she was curious.

"Wanted to see where I stood as a normal human," replied Nagi with a light grin. "I only did it once when I was pretty wimpy and relied completely on my magic. Right now I'm probably as fit as an Olympian but I can't keep everything up for very long."

"You and me both!" came a voice from not far away. The paladin cheerfully rounded a corner, seeing no problem with just walking into this monologue. "Where's the action? The adventure? The dwarves who just can't stand to see us blow up their alcohol? The goblin shredders? ANYthing!"

"I think we left that all back on the other previous planets," replied Negi wryly as he looked over at the paladin. "I admit I should still be in bed recovering but I just can't sit around doing nothing. At this point I'd go borrow a transformation device again."

He hoped it wasn't a dragon. That was overdone!

Negi laughed. "It's called a DoubleDriver. The last time Devlin and I borrowed it, we became Kamen Rider Double. Got into a LOT of trouble as Double I tell you."

"Though I kind of prefer Advent Decks. Same concept, but easier to use with just one person. A Kamen Rider is an armoured warrior of justice by the way."

"Tell me about it," Midna grumped, speaking without warning. She was hovering just over the top of the wall, head in one hand.

"Aren't there any adventures out here?" Or stoic, long-suffering heroic stooges to pull around?

Negi had seen a lot of things but none such as truly unique as Midna. Still he held onto his surprise with aplomb as he chuckled. "Whenever there's adventure to be found, there's always something to cap down on the surprise when it does happen."

"Yeah, I kind of noticed." She peered over the edge of the wall, down at Negi. "So who are you? Ugh, and why are you all sweaty?"

Midna and physical exertion -- like oil and water.

"You know, even when you go around looking like an older attractive guy, I still know its you." Mindy Macready walked over to Negi, her hair looking a bit mussed and, interestingly enough, her arms looked a little stronger somehow.

"Why are you even in that form again anyway?"

"Oh, well I figured I'd get used to my reach as an adult rather than a kid, and see if my endurance has changed," replied Negi, brushing sweat-matted hair away from his forehead. Normally he wouldn't even break a sweat, but now he looked pretty exhausted.

"That, and if I'm going to do various other things as an adult I'd give it a try."

Mindy snickered. "Is that right? There are a lot of things I bet you want to do as an adult that you can't as a kid. You perv you!"

She grinned, then thought a moment. "Hey, uh...is it possible to get one of those things for me, so I can get bigger? That way, I can, you know, spar a lot better and stuff."

Negi spat out some of the water he had been drinking and coughed. "I didn't mean it like that!"

At the second, he nodded. "I can get you some. But let's see..."

Digging into a bag that was set to the side since this was his start point, he pulled out the red and blue candies. "Here we go."
