But not. This was surely nowhere he knew, town or forest or anything. And the full moon hadn't been close. So what -- where?
When he spoke those questions aloud, answers came -- so to speak. And a trail appeared, even as he patted about his goopy, naked body with evident alarm.
"I need my wand."
Reply
"Oh no. No. Not this again, I already did this once!" a boy's voice yelled.
"THIS ISN'T FAIR, STACY! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"
Reply
"Pardon me," he said with as much politeness as he could muster in this situation. "May I ask if you understand what is going on?"
Their mutual nudity, he stoically ignored.
Reply
"Yeah, yeah. I don't know why I'm down here again, I already did this before."
He looks up at the ceiling again. "HEAR THAT STACY? ALREADY DID IT! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A ONE TIME DEAL, RIGHT?"
Again, she did not answer. Jack scowled more deeply. "Okay new guy, that's Stacy. Lesson one: She's never around when you want her."

The ship's message did nothing to calm him. He didn't recognize this voice, this "Stacy". It was not the voice of Alma, or the red magicker Jah-lila. There was a lifelessness in its tone, automatic and unfeeling that jarred with the rush of mother's love it gave him.
"There must be some mistake, Stacy," he called out, fly-whisk tail tossing nervously. "If there is danger to my people, they need me among them. I must go home!"
There was no answer, only the softly glowing trail of lights on the floor of this strange cave, unlike any Jan had ever seen.
The dark unicorn tossed his head to throw his dripping forelock from his eyes and, after taking a moment to examine the bizarre fleshy thing that had expelled him, set out warily along the muggy corridor. There was nowhere else for him to go.

And they also don't look or smell like anything he's seen before. Basically, he still doesn't know where they are. The Doctor is about to check out another pod when he hears what sounds like a whinny. Was that a horse?
Actually, it's a unicorn, the Doctor finds out as he peers around an unopened pod. A black unicorn, clopping down the corridor. Either he knows exactly where he's going or he wants to know exactly where he's going. That's good enough for the Doctor. He ( ... )

Suppressing a tremble she ran her fingers through her hair a few times compulsively and suddenly wished she had Kasey's hat back. Or any hat. A hat was important right now for reasons that were completely pointless.
Champion? Protector? Stacy had picked up the wrong girl that was for sure. Unless there was a race she was no champion. And the only person she'd ever been any good at protecting was herself.
"This is so messed up..." She muttered quietly for what might have been the fifth, seventh or tenth time. Because frankly it was difficult to process much more then that. She'd already been having a pretty terrible day before waking up here.

No, the only person nearby was an unfamiliar girl. "Um... hello?"
Reply
"Um...hi." She settled on a impeccably understated and in her own mind lame return of the greeting still covering herself uncomfortably. Being naked was just another great reason to hate today.
Reply
"Hi," she repeated, then realized she'd basically already said that. "Did... was it just me, or was there a voice just now...?"

She centers her mind, casting off the instinctual fear and natural confusion of her state to look around, assess where she was - the impression was one of not so much more than the inside of an enormous creature's nostril, but she dismissed the shape as too clearly artificial. She was naked, could not feel Laevatein either on her person or mentally close, and it seemed there were other humans - humanoids, anyway - nearby.
She's dropped into a semi-crouching position, ready to sprint for cover, when she starts to hear the voice in her head. Used to magical communication like this, she cants her head curiously, but does not seem any less defensive while she listens, carefully, to Stacy's standard greeting and decides whether or not to believe it...

"Signum! That's you, right? What's going on?" she blurted out, her words coming out so quickly that they nearly bled together a bit.

...weren't you at the central fleet office?

"I was at the Infinity Library with Yuuno last thing I remember."

She had a hard time seeing - her lack of glasses really didn't help her much, the caverns were blurry at best - but she was pretty sure this wasn't the Medium! She could hear other people moving around, and none of them sounded like her friends ( ... )

"Jade? Shit, Jade?" Dave hadn't really expected to see any of his friends here, but it was unmistakably her. Her and her fucking beast-thing. She hadn't taken his advice about the shed and the gun after all.
Oh well, there was more important stuff to worry about.
Reply
"Dave? Is that you??"
Reply
Dave was pretty sure that Jade didn't need to see any little boy peens, but didn't exactly have a way to cover himself up, aside from moving his arm "nonchalantly" (in massive sarcasm quotes) in front of his crotch, which he went ahead and did. He also took care to avert his eyes from her, although he was grateful for the dog for once. Made it less awkward.
"Man, shit, I was gonna ask what's going on but I think that'd be a really stupid question."
