By now the Doctor has got his slime legs under him for the most part. They're still wobbly just a little bit but he can navigate now without slipping and sliding and that's what counts. Sitting back near "his" pod won't get anything done. As soon as he gets his slime legs, the Doctor is up and about, investigating some of the pods that still have occupants (probably best not to touch those for now, there's simply some processes you don't rush without knowing how they work) and poking at some of the remnants of the others that did pop. They're very gloopy. And green.

And they also don't look or smell like anything he's seen before. Basically, he still doesn't know where they are. The Doctor is about to check out another pod when he hears what sounds like a whinny. Was that a horse?

Actually, it's a unicorn, the Doctor finds out as he peers around an unopened pod. A black unicorn, clopping down the corridor. Either he knows exactly where he's going or he wants to know exactly where he's going. That's good enough for the Doctor. He steps out from around the pod, raising his hand in greeting. He uses the other one to wipe his slimy hair out of his eyes.

"Hello!" Always good to start with a hello. He doesn't make too many sudden movements, watching that horn. "I'm the Doctor. Are you in a rush somewhere? You look like you are. Or you'd like to be, which amounts to the same thing when you think about it."
