It was going to be their second meeting, and she already had an idea from Beastboy that he'd drummed up some interest in some the newly pod popped. Katara lingered in this small bit of luxury for a bit too long: there were obviously GOING to be people arriving, particularly the ones she told to be here.

Beastboy had apparently had more or less the same idea as Katara, a quick refreshing swim before the meeting.

He did not however plan on doing it in the same manner as her. In fact as he burst into the swimming area and ran (Ignoring the do not run signs) To the water he didn't even notice her at first diving through the air with a loud "COWABUNGA!" And splashing into the water turning into a large Octopus upon landing.

As the water settled he spent a few moments stretching his tantacles until his big black eyes settled on the only other person in the pool.

After a long...very very long moment in which you could swear the green skin was turning red with blush a tentacle waved in greeting.

Yes, she guessed she should have expected Beastboy MIGHT pop in early she just hadn't expected him a)so soon or b)to the swimming area. So once she heard the "COWABUNGA" she shrieked, going for a towel immediately. By the time he looked, Katara had the towel up to her chest, turning pretty red.

Yes, she could have yelled at him, but she was the one naked, not him, and he had no idea this was how she bathed back home to begin with. She laughed awkwardly, shaking her head.

"I should have figured you might be early," she said, shaking her head. "I've been here all day, so I figured I should have a clean dip. I'll put up a sign next time!"

Beastboy shifted back cheeks bright red, "H-heh yeah I hear ya...I uh...so..." He laughed nervously, "Well if it helps I'm naked most the time whenerver I turn into an animal if you think about it?"

Well. All awkward meting aside, now is time for the important part: all of the Outsiders seeing its new potential members, getting an idea of what sort of powers (or non powers) they're working with. There are foodstuffs all set on the table, and an atmosphere of mingling between members.

Won't you introduce yourself?

Vita was a bit...miffed. It looked like she was going to be one of the smallest people in the place, and she wasn't even going to be a full time member (although she was going to help them out with the training if they could use that, children or not didn't really matter much to her. She herself had already trained ten year olds, after all)! This was aggravating. She sure hoped nobody was going to pet her.

And so, the small "girl" in the red dress (+ that silly cap with the bunnies, for added effect) and the criquet-hammer waited and watched what was going on.

...No, she was supposed to introduce herself. "Err, hi. I'm Vita. I'm from the magical department, but I'm helping out here, too, as long as I'm needed." She stated, and tried a smile. Awkward.

Why did everyone have to be taller than her?

Maydril wasn't that much taller than Vita, all things considered. The armor she'd worn was probably an interesting touch, and certainly the sword (nearly as big as she) was.

She looked unusually solemn, but she let a smile cross her face, and she made a curtsey to the girl in the dress.

"I am Maydril val Mandrian. It is a pleasure to meet you. I also like your outfit." Which was true. May was fond of red.

"Er, thanks. Hayate designed it for me." Vita answered, happy that someone liked Hayate's clothing design. So pleased that she didn't think the girl was mocking her with the curtsey, in fact.

"You have nice armor, too."

A fellow melee fighter, huh.

Ok, everyone's settled in, we have an idea who we are? Good. Now comes the time where we gather in the conference room. The chairs are plush, and there are even a few couches available for those who are less concerned with personal space. The outside of the hotel is clearly viewable by the glass doors set at the end of the room, where you can see the pool set up for something.

At the head of this room are the leaders of the Outsiders, Katara and Beastboy, and they're talking to each other a moment before clearing their throats to address all of the people here.

"It's good to see all of you here," Katara began. "I know that when you ask for a first meeting a lot of people come, but you really start to learn who;s staying by the second meeting. Still, I won't say that for certain: I know there are people who probably couldn't make it ( ... )

Beastboy grinned cheerfully, "So what we wanna do is come together as a group. Support one another, work together to hone our skills. It's like the old saying, "No matter who you are there's always someone better." He winked, "So we just wanna make sure when you meet that person you're ready."

He took another step forward, "We can offer training in combat if you want to learn how or if you know how and just need practice, or for those of you who are less combat friendly we can hook you up with people who can help hone whatever your skill of choice is!"

Another pause and then a joke, "And if you have no skill well that's alright we'll keep you around anyway! We don't discriminate!"

"When we aren't training we're relaxing, hanging out, having parties, movie night, playing games. The hotel would be your home away from home. It's alot more comfortable then some of the places on board that's for sure!"

"Any questions?"

With a crash and a cry, the army of the Overlord (12 minions) burst in, surrounding the favored minion of said Overlord as she held the Sacred Tome up high.

"All right! You wanted the best, you got the best!" the book bellowed. "Overlord Zetta, the most badass freakin' Overlord in the cosmos, will now be adjourning to the sensoriums for the most freakin' advanced combat training you've ever had in your lives. The safeties will be off! The challenge will be immense! And I, Overlord Zetta, will be there to show you what a challenge really is! Hyaaaa ha ha ha ha ha!"

So pronouncing, the Overlord's small army turned and marched out, off to the sensoriums to set up camp. By the time any of the Outsiders got there to train, he'd be oh-so-ready for them...

Like there was a chance in hell she was going to miss this. Safeties off? Challenges immense? Right now that was sounding better than moaning and groaning about her situation, and right about now? She was definitely looking into breaking some stuff to relieve some tension.

She waited a good two minutes and then casually strolled out of the room, bee lining it to the Sensoriums. It was time to let go.

At the moment of arrival, the sensorium held nothing but a flat grey plane, presided over by a smug-looking book.

"Well, you were in a hurry," he said to the girl as she stepped in.

She isn't really sure how many people are going to sign up for hers, but she's offering anyway after remembering that Fletcher had wanted to start learning to defend himself. This way, at least,s he can help whoever wants that sort of special attention.

"If anyone wants to do the beginner course, come with me to the pools," Katara said. "I'll be waiting!"

Well, Fletcher at least was there. He followed Katara to the pools, curious to see what she would be teaching.

Katara waited and seeing that there was no one but Fletcher, decided this was a good thing. It meant that most of them were going to be over at Beastboy's right? She hoped so anyway.

"Fletcher, come on closer" she said, smiling. "I was actually hoping you'd come. I wanted to teach you some technique in defense."

Fletcher stepped closer, more relaxed now that she was smiling. This was beginning training, right? How bad could it be? "I'd love to learn," he replied. "I've never learned how to do anything like that before..."
