She turned in her seat and her gaze fell on the young (well as far as she could tell) man standing in the doorway. "Oh it's alright," she finally stated, her head tilting a bit to the side as she continued to study him.
"And... Please don't call me ma'am. It makes me feel old. I'm Jean," She offered him a smile.

Jono straightened up self-consciously, corners of his eyes tipping up a bit. Me mum'd like t' know she managed to drill some sorta manners int' me, he said, accent thickening a bit. British, by way of Bow Bells, if she knew the area. Jono Starsmore. He paused, then offered his hand. Wouldn' be Jean Grey, would it? She didn't look too much like the one he knew, but that hardly meant anything here.

Women normally liked that kind of thing.
"It's very nice to meet you Jono...." She replied as she reached out and grasped his hand within her own and shook it.
Her smile faltered a bit, and once she realized it was, quickly forced it back. "Yes, I am.... Let me guess. I'm a movie character from your world." She's not trying to be rude, it's just a little disconcerting to have so many people know who she was and she was clueless as to their identities.
