Ah well. It had been fun while it had lasted, hadn't it? Well, ignoring the "having to discipline her daughter" part, anyway.

Besides, she'd gotten some cute new clothes and stocked up on food to cook for the crew. So she'd call this one a win.

Negi had come back when the Bus had, and he was looking across the others when he noticed Vivio there. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen her all vacation.

"Vivio-chan~!" he called out, running up to her.

"What's with the long face neechan?" inquired Chamo. The pair were still dressed in beach flipflops, shorts and a open hooded sweater.

Vivio looked back to see Negi and Chamo approach. Any other time, she'd be happy to see them. Now, she just turned, nodded at them and turned back.

"...I was punished." Vivio said. "Sherry convinced me to go with her late at night and I was caught..."

"Whaaaaaa?!" exclaimed Negi in shock.

Chamo sighed. "Honestly you two are more alike than I thought. You two should be SIBLINGS or something!"

"C-chamo-kun..."

"You're probably blaming yourself huh? That you went along with it and now it's all your fault and blah blah blah."

Negi facepalmed.

"C-chamo-kun you're just making her feel worse..." stammered Negi.

"Quiet Aniki, Ermine Talking Here." Negi clammed up.

"Now then. There's a lot of things that could go wrong, would go wrong... but you have to remember that it's in the past now. Even if your moms are going to punish you and I doubt they won't, just stick through it kid, and you'll do fine."

Chamo lit up a cigarette and puffed it, a vice that required Negi to abuse his adult form to get. "If you worry and punish yourself for something you did all the time, you'll never grow as a person. Just stay the same."

"... that's pretty deep coming from you," said Negi.

Chamo grinned and blew a puff of smoke into the air.
