Riza frowned at the small puppy she had retrieved from one of the pods. Black Hayate was trotting happily along like there was nothing wrong with this in the world, and perhaps there wasn't in the small dogs mind sight. However, even as he glanced up at his owner his ears went back and he whimpered at the serious face she gave off. Even Black Hayate knew when Riza was on full alert mode. The voice in her head hadn't put her mind anymore at ease, and at this point the whole thing was just bugging her. She had to find the Colonel, that was her initial thought process. She hadn't found him in there, but Riza wasn't stopping now.
Edward was here, which meant the others had a chance of being here as well. But the question wasn't were they there, it was: did she want them to be put in this situation? Riza closed her eyes, folding her arms across her chest in thought. She wasn't sure. She'd reclaimed her positions at least, the few guns that seemed to be her positions. Riza was fine with that, though, most of her things back in Central had

Roy feels the usual hopelessness as he walks into the Obs. Deck, having dropped the data pad he was reading when Stacy's voice shifted the air in the Media Library, informing him that yet another group of podsleepers had awoken. It doesn't feel any different than the other pops, though, and he stares disconsolately across the room, not even bothering to scan the crowd. Fortunately for his quickly sinking heart, his wishes that he had stayed in the Media Library are abated as a certain shade of blonde catches his eye.
"N...no. That... wh-ho-?"
He gives up rationalizing for once in his life, eyes wide, heart hammering as he shoves his way through the masses of strangers, barely bothering with apologies when he knocks the occasional person over, stopping only long enough to make sure he's not stepping on Hayate's tail as he captures Riza in... the first hug he's ever given her.
He is shaking as he squeezes her, head turning so he can bury his face in her hair.
Riza's attention wasn't solely on her dog, as much as she'd prefer it. Her guard wasn't let down even as she allowed it to lick her, because oh god she's letting him. So when the sound of a person not so kindly shoving their way through caught her ears, she peered up... Just to see the man in question before he pulled her into a hug. Riza froze a moment, uncertain what to think of it

And Roy chuckles. He absolutely chuckles, shaking his head, consequently burying his nose deeper in her hair. He's gone twenty years without giving this woman more than a firm pat on the back and his loyalty, and abruptly, that doesn't feel like nearly enough, because, per her word, she has found and saved him yet again. For a few minutes here, he's going to indulge in... non-military behavior, and squeeze the life out of this miraculous woman and just... chuckle occasionally, breathe a lot, and try not to slip back to his pre-GLaDOS insanity in a rush of complacency-inducing relief.
Finally, his grip loosens, and he turns his head enough to facilitate speaking. "He would bark if I was crushing him, Lieutenant," he says, the smile plastered to his face audible in his voice. He sighs, dropping his head onto her shoulder and, incidentally, he probably won't be moving anytime soon.
Having been briefed and clothed by Stacy, collected his gear and what little sense he was born with, Jim begrudgingly followed her direction to the observation deck. When the sea of faces produces no conclusive leads, he does what that officer's emblem scorched into his plantsuit dictates he ought to-- addresses the assembled crew, and hopefully without starting a fist fight in the process.
"My name is James T. Kirk, I'm captain of the USS Enterprise. I'd like to speak to the commanding officer aboard this ship."
"And yet they haven't quite organized themselves into a rigid military structure or agreed upon a single point of executive leadership," she replied and folded her arms. Sarcasm was an art form, really, "Shocking, I know."
Thump. Squish. Thump. Squish. Ed couldn't get that rhythm out of his head as he hopped down the hallways, holding his automail under his good arm. "This is so much easier when I have Alphonse to lean on," grumbled Ed

Once again, Fletcher was wandering through the Obs Deck, looking desperately for a familiar face. Someone, anyone, from home... After seeing for himself what had happened to his world, he was more desperate than ever to see someone he knew.
And there he was, Edward Elric, sitting in a chair... with his automail detached? That wasn't good... Fletcher immediately started toward him and called out, "Ed--!" but then paused. What if he was like Winry and didn't remember him?
It looked like Fletcher's worries were for nothing. He brightened up instantly, and quickly closed the gap between himself and Edward. "I-I know, but for some reason I guess Stacy thought..." Why were he and Russel here, anyway? There had to be some reason. "But-- you're okay! You're really okay! We were so worried about you. Brother's gonna be really happy to see you!"
Wyn stands fairly close to the doorway, a friendly smile on her face. She knows how hard it is to wake up on a spaceship, not knowing anything about what's going on, so she tries to make it a little easier on everyone. She holds a large-ish sign reading 'I ANSWER QUESTIONS' in neat capital letters above her head, hoping that the newbies will notice.
"Subtle is my middle name!" Wyn says brightly. "Really, though, someone's got to help the new people out, and it might as well be really obvious who can help."

Nathan flew in the air to oversee how it was going with the new arrivals.
He called out, still hovering in the air, "Sentient beings, if I could have your attention? I am Nathan Petrelli, a member of the Command Staff here on board. On behalf of them welcome aboard. I understand you have a great deal of questions and I hope we can answer them all to the best of our ability. Unfortunately as Stacy likely informed, our worlds and galaxies of origin are gone, wiped out by an alien race known as the Ohm. We are receiving more intel all the time about how to defeat these creatures, and there may be a way to restore our homes. Make sure you stop over at Weapons and Possessions to retrieve any personal items. Our Welcoming staff can assist with orienting you to the ship. Thank you."
He then descended to the ground, and awaited any one to one questions.
At first, Euphie was so surprised at the sight of a man flying around in the air that she almost missed what he was saying. But she tuned in after a moment, and was glad that she did.
Gone... Everything. Everyone back home. No, it couldn't be... Lelouch. Nunnally. Cornelia and Schneizel and... and Suzaku.
And the SAZ. Nippon was...
Something snapped for a second, and she smiled peacefully. They'd all been killed? She would have to thank these Ohm...
And then she snapped back. What had she just been thinking? She'd spaced out for a moment. The flying man had landed, and Euphie made her way through the crowd to speak with him. "Excuse me... excuse me! Mr. Petrelli?"

"There isn't one," she replied, drily, from her position just behind Jim, with her back to the wall a few feet off the door.

"What do you mean there isn't one?" he replies doubtfully, "There must be hundreds of people in here."

Oh, well, it was too late now.

His expression brightened as he sat up fully. "Fletcher!" exclaimed Ed, laughing. "What are you doing here? This is a long way from Xenotime!"

She came to a halt in front of him and stood up straight, trying to mask her fear. "They're-- gone? Our homes are gone? Are you really sure?"
