Urban Restoration Committee is go!

Gauron's set up a conference room in the sensoriums to discuss his plans for the city; true to his word, there is food - pastries, sushi, yakitori, and baozi, for the moment, but it's the sensoriums: it's not like you can't have something else if you want - and several choices of teas and gourmet coffees. One wall is taken up by a massive window, ( Read more... )

Sokka pokes his head into the room and looks around curiously. He's takena break from Aang and Katara (they probably want private time anyway) in order to check out this project.

"Is this the city thing?"

He looks up from fiddling with his omnicom. "Yeah. Make yourself comfortable." Instead of turning his attention back to what's happening on the comm channel, though, he tucks it into his pocket, and returns to scrutinizing the city map instead.

Done with trying to get situated at the moment, Superman entered the room, curious as to what Gauron had in mind.

"I take it that this is where everyone's meeting about the city?" he asked.

"Yeah." He gestures to the map of the city. "As you can see, we've got a lot of work ahead of us before the place is usable again. Nice to meet you, by the way - I'm Gauron."

"I can see. And the sooner we fix that, the better." Superman said, noting what Gauron had pointed to. He extended his hand to Gauron. "Nice to meet you. I'm Superman."

Xander needed some patching up, but he was here. And loading up a plate with food.

"I already heard it's going to need repairs again." That seems like all he does at times. Stuff gets knocked over, and he's got to repair it. "What else besides the Vatican?"

"Everything around Escherville has been pretty thoroughly destroyed, but there's a lot of damage beyond just that. Nothing else has happened to the Vatican, so redecorating it or whatever can wait until we've gotten the potential death traps cleared out." One of the main reasons why Gauron's doing this, after all, is to make sure that people are clear about exactly what the priorities should be regarding the city.

"Have some more respect." Oh look, the Son of Satan just arrived. "The Vatican is a house of God. Although I agree that it is perhaps time to put its restoration on pause for the moment."

Xander added, "When I said repairs, I mean repairs. Several of the supports were shot and destroyed after the zombies. I need a crew and equipment to really do any major project, and by the sound of what you're saying, we going to need a crane and trucks."

Zelda's there, poking curiously at the sushi with a faintly nonplussed expression on her face.

Was it supposed to look that... uncooked?

Picking a pastry instead, she then wanders over to the table, gazing curiously at the map. So much to restore and repair...

Now that Jamie's able to walk more easily - although he's still moving a little stiffly - he's come to see what he can do to help. Like Zelda before him, he's looking at the sushi curiously. He picks one up, sniffs it, then shrugs and pops it into his mouth. There's a very strange expression that crosses his face when the taste hits, but he gamely chews and swallows it anyway.

Leaving the rest of the snacks behind, he goes over to look at the map instead. "Och, that's a lot of damage. Where are ye going to want to start?"
