They have a lot to...to react to.

And a body to move.

She out a hand to her mouth, any effort to still the feelings inside tossed aside by the reality that she hadn't been put here because she was on vacation. Suddenly the traces of motherliness that Katara had felt when she first come on the ship was made clear. Stacy was motherly for a reason: they had lost everything, and she had taken them here to try and grasp something of a life they no longer had available to them anymore. The tears came, and Katara wished there was a place to run, to get away from all of this. Instead, she was going to have to deal with her team seeing her close to losing it.

She stood up quickly, and started to walk...where? It wasn't as if there were any place for her, but here, and what was the point of saying anything? All of the things that had been important to her in the past few hours were gone now, and she could only stare at the screen in disbelief.

And that was when her big brother comes up behind her and enfolded Katara in a hug, grasping her tightly as he buried his head against her hair, not able to speak. Not able to form the words. Instead, just the feeling of his tears slowly soaking into her hair and down the back of her neck as he wept silently.

For once, Sokka was speechless.

With Sokka here, all the anger she felt toward him for yelling at her earlier was gone. It seemed so stupid now, so without purpose. A fight that ultimately led to the discovery of what they were there for. Now that the truth was out, there was little reason for her to be angry about this. She needed her family. She needed her friends. She needed...Aang.

Whatever happened, he was here, he needed them. Sokka was here. Zuko was here. Mai was here. At least they weren't alone. Of course, right now she really missed Toph, and it hurt her knowing she might be lost forever.

She ran into Sokka's arms, sobbing softly.

The people in the Medbay have a lot to think about now. There are still injured people to treat and they might want to offer some comfort to each other after what they've just found out.

Even for Gauron, this takes a few minutes to process. Up until now, this has all been a game to him; he'd play around here for a while, but when he got tired of it, he'd go back to his world, and run the suicide mission he'd been planning - go out in a blaze of glory, and, if all went according to plan, take Kashim down with him. Even if the boy mercenary had never been his in life, Gauron was determined to have him in death.

Now, though, it's a lot more real.

And when the reality sets in - that his world was gone, and he, who was planning to die, is one of very few who survived - it is f***ing hilarious. He laughs - not that loudly, but it's still a harsh, almost psychotic sound. Somehow, he's cheated death again, when he least expected to. This is way more awesome than the time he survived a headshot. And knowing that his girls are probably here, safe somewhere in the pod cavern, makes it that much more hilarious. That they would save someone like him, and bring the Xia twins with him, is a joke; he's irresponsible, capricious, ( ... )

Tess' brain has been doing wild, imbalanced chemical wobbles, as her Friendlies try to fix overcorrect with overcorrect, and all the while her glands keep pumping out enough cortisol to kill a small horse.

Not that this is particularly visible from the outside, but it might serve as an explanation later for why she goes from quietly crying to trying to punch Gauron in the face. And she's strong! Probably almost as much as Gauron, in fact-enough, at least, that it's a shock coming from a teenage girl.

Gauron's got excellent reflexes; even if his guard's down, he's not getting punched today - not by someone who's just a hysterical teenager, anyway. He deflects the blow, grabbing her wrist as he does and pulls her in, catching her upper chest so as not to injure her before closing his fingers around her throat just barely hard enough to frighten. "Take it easy," he growls in her ear. "We've all had a long day, and we're still tense - and we all have our own ways of coping."

Some people aren't on the bridge or in the Med Bay, but Stacy's everywhere. So is the information.

Everything was… gone? All his friends? All of… all of Earth? How could that be? How could everyone be gone but him and possibly those in the pods? It just didn’t seem right ( ... )

His world was gone. His parents, the bullies, everyone he'd ever known. His neighbours, and the girl from school he'd liked. The grocer who'd always given him things for free on the way to school. For a moment, he almost didn't believe it. But it made complete sense. He knew it did.

His muscles burned, it seemed every part of his body ached and screamed for him to rest. He wanted to lay down and never have to get up again. The little he'd known about himself, the short time he'd had among those people to figure out who he was before his life had been taken away. It wasn't enough.

He felt lost. How could this happen? Why was this happening? Why had Stacy taken him. Why did he have to be here? She should have let him die back home. Die with his planet and everyone he'd cared about there. At least then he wouldn't have had to feel like this.

"WHY THE !@*% DIDN'T YOU LET ME DIE?!" He screamed into the emptiness of the Vatican, his voice echoing back off the walls.

Claudia had started to make her way with the others toward the medbay, but once she started thinking about all she's heard, she'd simply stopped walking.

How was it possible? Her brother was gone? Pete, Mika and Artie? Even Leena? Every single person and thing on Earth, just simply gone? How... She swallowed, her eyes darting around, not really taking in anything she saw.

Sinking down to the ground, she buried her face in her hands, trying to comprehend everything she'd just learned. It couldn't be true. This seriously had to be some way wacked out dream. Maybe she'd accidentally stepped through Alice's mirror? This could NOT be right.

"Someone... Just SERIOUSLY pinch me, because I want to wake up from this friggin nightmare RIGHT NOW!"
