They now know what they're up against: space pirates. Interdimensional kidnappers and ruthless scallywags, that hijack ships, and sell the ships themselves and their contents for profit

Everyone was heavily armed and heading for the door to the bridge, shooting out the sensors as they approached, not even slowing down to pile up debris to take cover behind -- they had no intention of being pushed back this way. They looked very determined and very, very dangerous.
At least, that's what the pirates would see. Jeka's illusions were very, very detailed. The pirates wouldn't suspect a thing.

They can hear Captain Thux's voice giving her cold orders over the pirates' comms--adjusted to not be blocked out by the jamming signal jamming all the other comms on the ship--and can just hear it through the door. Her voice is the type that cuts a solid metal bulkhead, it does. Yet, even though it's always easy to hear, she never seems to raise it unless especially roused.
"Get out there, you scuts, and kill them all."
The pirates rush out, blasters and other weapons raised, turn the corner and--are immensely confused.

This is when everyone with some sort of energy/magical/Bending/Force power attacks. Telekinesis, Waterbending, blaster fire, force-based attacks, ect energy--you name it, if it can be blasted, it blasts them.
It's nothing short of a brawl, as Team GTFO fights the pirates, but it's an organized chaos, as everyone works together to take the pirates down, and they have the advantage of surprise and have already bowled them over with their initial attack. They also aren't expecting as many people as Team GTFO has.
There are cyborgs, beings with superstrength and invulnerability, shapeshifters, beings with multiple arms or powerful hind legs, some are brawlers, some are schooled in alien martial arts, or in the use of whips or bladed weapons. Some have powers, like ray beams fired from their mouths, or freezing powers or the ability to manipulate fire--and they all know how to use their abilities in nasty, vicious, deadly ways

After that initial Force Push, Luke ignited his lightsaber, the snap-hiss of the green-white blade a familiar thing, and leaped forward. He went for a huge, many-armed thing, the claws like pincers and the eyes projected out on short stalks. It made a gurgling roar as he came at it, and scuttled sideways on crablike legs, free pinches clacking, those ones that were gripping an odd whip and a shiny stick with a wicked-looking emitter at the end.
Luke didn't want to know what that stick thing did, so he crouched and, holding his lightsaber up in guard, pulled his blaster into his hand with the Force and took a couple shots, trying to see if the thing's shiny skin was armored or not.

Swift in her search for children to capture, Sheeana found a certain Jed-eye taking potshots a something like a giant scorpion with no stinger (having no experience of sealife this was the simile her mind came up with).
Behind it, there was a Sheeana-shaped blur, the bone-white flash of a crysknife and one stalk-eye fell to the floor. It gurggled and squeaked, its own equivalent of a roar of pain.
Help From the Outside - Motoko and SamuscityshipNovember 7 2009, 04:30:34 UTC
On the outside of the ship, there's someone coming to their aid, in a spaceship, ready to make the pirates' lives hell, by damaging their ship/living quarters.
But the ship has powerful gun turrets of it's own and is considerably bigger.
They'll do whatever they can to occupy the pirates and make their lives hell, but they're facing crazy odds themselves while doing it.

And help came. The Gunship might not be that big, but it certainly is speedy compared to the big, bulky pirate ship. It zoomed around, managing to avoid most damage.
The Gunship flew round the pirate's. No shots were being fired back yet. In a rather impressive maneuver, they flew round, circling the turrets. Got a little present for them.

Happy birthday, it's a cyborg!
More accurately it's a half-ton of Cyborg coming feet-first at a blinding, slingshot speed. The magnetics in Motoko's spacesuit were on and ready, and when she impacted one of the turrets the impact dented it's side and threw off the aim in a way that probably gave whoever was firing the damn thing whiplash. The sound was negligent, thanks to the vacuum, but the shock traveling through her legs was terrific. Motoko ejected a grenade from the magazine and wedged it into the gap the dent her weight had made between the metal and it's housing and moved on.
And as she thumbed the remote detonation switch and felt the explosion through her feet, her expression spun feral. It was good to be on point again.

Excellent job, Motoko. One turret down, only one to go.
Samus swung the ship around, diving back down and unleashing the fury of her own ship's laser systems. It was time to break out the big guns. An apparatus unfolded from the rear of the ship. How nice, Samus' ship was equipped with a functional plasma cannon. A concentrated blast from that... well, it was more than enough to take down another turret.
There were more turrets, but the first were taken down easily enough, though. The Gunship turned, ready to take down the rest down. The pirates, however, were not so ill-prepared as initially thought by the unchallenged destruction of their defenses. Two mommy turrets much larger, armored turrets withdrew from the hull and took the place of the small guns. Now, these may pose a problem.
Reaction (React to the pirates disappearing)cityshipNovember 8 2009, 03:53:54 UTC
The pirates have lost. Soundly. Between Motoko and Samus wrecking the hell out of their ship from the outside, and getting their asses kicked soundly on the inside, a retreat is in order.
But they are sore losers.
"Po Staw," Captain Thux hisses, as she drags an egg-shaped case on the ship with her, limping from her injuries in the fight
