I wonder whether it would be humanly possible to participate in NaNoWriMo while also trying to survive this first semester of my PhD. Maybe an attempt at a 1/2 novel, i.e. 25,000 words rather than 50,000. Thoughts?

Drafting book II. This is contingent on me writing the last few chapters of book I, at least half-assedly, before then. But yeah, continuing on in the trilogy. Whether I can motivate myself to be productive enough to do both my schoolwork and my writing "work" is debatable, though.
