my big news is that a turtle totally peed on me today!

So I was thinking the other day (scary, I know) and I began to wonder what it must be like to be an operator of heavy machinery. I mean it's got to suck to not be able to take any medications, as they all say "do not operate heavy machinery when using." Do these people get time off when in need of medication? Or do they just never get sick?

The dog is literally chewing my arm at the moment - so demanding to play! Bit anyhow this week was interesting. I had Monday free except for having to open the Field Station. I find myself enjoying watching the turtles. They are so funny! In the afternoon I went to the chiropractor. Tuesday I went to work at Reserve in Hudson. Yeah office ( Read more... )

I made it through the semester and finals with my head above water. My god this was the most challenging semester, luckily next fall is looking to be much much easier with courses that might actually be fun! Woot ( Read more... )

Hmmm....I don't remember what my last entry was about. But let me see, my horses were moved about a month ago. Both the horses and I feel much mroe relaxed and happy (no more tears heading to the barn). My mom had bought a cool little Kabota off-road vehicle, which is slow but cool. Yes it has been awhile since my last post. What has happened between then and now? Well we have looked at several other horse properties, made an offer on one, but that fell through. So we have decided to move our horses to the stable that our 145 acres in Ravenna is behind. The move will hopefully happen next weekend - I can't hardly wait. ( Read more... )
