Sometimes it's best to just copy the original description, like in the case for this sci-fi action-thriller: "The movie burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims. Against this setting, a young man (Chris Evans) and a teenage girl (Dakota Fanning) take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization."
Now for the good news, the trailer looks much more interesting than one might expect after that description. I still fear that eye-roll inducing special-effects will take over at one point of the movie but so far it looks as if they finally found the right movie for Evans and he makes a surprisingly good team with Fanning. Further good news is that Djimon Hounsou, Camilla Belle, her eyebrows, Cliff Curtis and Maggie Siff round up the cast. Directed by Paul McGuigan (Lucky Number Slevin, Wicker Park, Gangster No. 1).

Marley & Me     HD480p 49MB   HD720p 128MB
Family comedy opening on Christmas Day in the US that tells the heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making (Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson) and the wondrously neurotic dog who taught them what really matters in life. Alan Arkin, Eric Dane, Kathleen Turner are also part of the cast.
No surprises here. For the friends of dogs it can be summed up as: Puppy! For the rest of us, the movie probably won't help us understand why it's desirable to pretty much subordinate your life to the wishes of a dog. For the fans of Chariots of Fire, there's also been a short teaser some time ago: HD480p 22MB

Largo Winch     8 MB
First trailer for this big-budget action movie from France that is the adaptation of a Belgian comic book series. Largo Winch (Tomer Sisley) is a young and handsome orphan who is propelled to the head of a business empire, Group W, after his adoptive father is murdered. He then has to go through a lot of troubles to preserve his inheritance and avenge his father. Cast includes Gilbert Melki, Kristin Scott Thomas, Benedict Wong, Mélanie Thierry and Anne Consigny. Directed by Jérôme Salle (Anthony Zimmer).
Looks very slick. I hope it will get an international release.

Special     .mov 44MB   .WMV HD720p 73MB
Sometimes it takes a little longer for a movie to get a theatrical release. I first posted a trailer for this movie in January 2006. It then got released that year in the UK and it will now have a limited release in the US this November. It's a low budget drama with funny undertones about a lonely meter maid (Michael Rapaport) who has a psychotic reaction to his medication and becomes convinced he's a superhero.
I suspect the very funny trailer sets up expectations a little too high but it could still be a very entertaining little movie.

The Great Buck Howard     7 MB
First (unofficial) teaser for this comedy about a recent law school dropout (Colin Hanks) who answers an ad for a "Road Manager and Personal Assistant for Celebrity Performer", thinking it will break him into the entertainment industry. In actual fact, he has signed on to work for Buck Howard (John Malkovich), a has-been magician trying to revitalize his waning career. With the help of a fiery publicist (Emily Blunt), Troy and Buck embark on a cross-country tour in hopes of staging the comeback of a lifetime. Ricky Jay, Griffin Dunne and Steve Zahn round up the cast. Tom Hanks has a cameo, he also produced.
