Well, today was not fun.  9 this morning the parental units decided they want to go to Tuttles. Not a problem, I get ready, put the car seat in their car, and I am ready.   Mom decides that this is a good time to turn the leftover chicken into supper for tonight, and a batch of soup.  Then she decides it is lunchtime, then that she needs a nap. 1:

Absolutly would not tollerate that from a parent. It's my kid, and I say when he/she does or does not get punished. Now you are going to have her playing off grandma and parents because she knows she can use them to get past you. Put your foot down now, before it's too late.

I agree. It's in a child's nature to get away with everything they possibly can, but if you don't find a way to nip this in the bud Princess will just keep (a)imitating your parents' bad behavior (it gets THEM what they want, so why shouldn't she try it? and (b) playing grandparents off of parents and so forth. I don't blame her, but I really see this only getting worse the more she is around them.

She has the perfect models of clingy, whiny behavior right now... from the sound of your entries, at least.
