Well, today was not fun.  9 this morning the parental units decided they want to go to Tuttles. It is incredible, how similar those two categories are. They are self-centered, demanding, stubborn.  You can't negotiate with them, nor use reason. It is if, after years of living, they have reverted back to toddlers, and I have the same level of confidence at leaving them alone for any length of time ( Read more... )

Well, I seem to be off on a road trip starting tomorrow morning, and returning possibly on Sunday. Dad is going in for surgery, so I get to play driver to the Vermont border. Oh what fun!
