Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? Especially coming from HIM, not God of course but the actor :) For whatever reason, stuff like that said in his voice with his inflection seems THAT ,much more potent. Am I smoking crack?

But yeah, those words are very powerful, even if you're not religious. I kinda look at it from the flipside, in that the opportunities are not presented to us, but we seem to seek them out when we have doubts about those things in ourselves.
