Yay and eek in equal measures

So I put my hand up to help foodwise at MonUCS camp the weekend after this one coming. The original caterer has pulled out due to lurgy. So I got called up for catering duty. Ooh! I'd be interested in Swingle Singers stuff! Am I required to know the songs before we start practicing?

Russian food sounds exciting. Not the sort of thing I normally expect at mass feedings. I'm looking forward to it!

PS: If you haven't drunk the bottle of Port (and I completely understand if you have!) could you bring it please?

You're in. I'll have a look through my music tonight and PM you which pieces. Probably Bach's Chorale Prelude and maybe one of the Eine Kline Nachmusic movements. Just need a tenor and sop now (since I alto'ed it for that concert).

The port is definitely still lurking around. I'll make sure I bring it up with me.

Funnily enough a lot of Russian food lends itself very well to mass catering. Russia never really developed the restaurant culture that France and England did. Also the majority of recipes around are family favourites that came with immigrants fleeing the soviet state.
