today
i took the train into boston & methermionesviolin, it was so nice to see her! we're kinda doing a seasonal thing here, the first time we went to boston it was fall, last time was winter, this time spring!
anyway, we saw the boston public gardens (a dad said to his little girl, "look at the flowers!" she replied with all the superiority & certainty of a four-year-old, "some of them died!") i took pictures of her hair & she took a picture of me pretending i was sienna.
then we had a ride on the swan boats (sweet deal, you guys! $2.75! what in this world is $2.75???). after that was my favorite thing that she & i do, a walk, almost literally, through the city & a marathon talk session. we had lunch at uno's, where we both had deep-dish pizzas & i had sangria. she was going out for drinks tonight already, so i was drinking alone, but she did take a sip!
after lunch, we went to the "art in bloom" exhibit at the museum of fine arts. it was so cool, so spring-y, i wish i knew more about flowers!
