2009 is the Year of the Bonfire

At the opening of this new year, I feel great yearning to express myself creatively. The notion of the "creative spark" led me to consider fire metaphors for the new year, and eventually I arrived the notion of a bonfire. Nice name! Bill commented that a bonfire is also an excellent place to get rid of things you don't want.

Nicely done.
Having also gotten a new camera as a holiday present, I think I will
very likely have to work harder on getting memories captured and
shared with the new toy this year. :)

I've honestly always thought that I'm too square for Burning Man! Perhaps this is the year I should reconsider. I'd need to find out where and when it is -- I know I have several friends who attend yearly.
