Year of Better may become Year of Consumption

Officially, 2005 was the Year of the New Age for me. In practice, it largely turned out to be the Year of Embracing My Inner Geek. New Age/Old Age - In many ways it always feels "new" to be comfortable in your own skin. In this case, it just happened to be my own geeky skin.

A though, I don't know what your kitchen space is like or if this is do-able: Put all of your kitchen bits and bobs into one drawer, and leave another empty. When you use something, put it in the empty drawer. When you're ready to clean out again you'll know what you've used and what you haven't.

This would work in a certain section. I have three places for utensils: The jar for the really frequently used, a drawer for next most frequently used, and then the third drawer for chopsticks and things that mean well, but....

If I could get Ian to agree to this... nah! It'll never work! ;)

Good idea on distribution, however. I betcha that third drawer doesn't move with us.
