I feel your pain. Bowling was fun at the time, but I regretted it the morning after.

I took care of my friend while he was dying. I left school my sophomore year to do so. I don't regret doing it, what makes the story more depressing to me was he had a little girl, and the fact that the few times I tell people I know this, they think I'm crazy for leaving school for half a year. THAT makes me sad.

I don't know if it's because I'm at a rich kid school, but the reaction I get is: "You left school?? It wasn't YOUR job."

because so many people are incredibly far from that selfless/generous, esp in their youth, and thus your actions are inscrutable to them. ;P

I'm contemplating having an affair. My husband is a wonderful guy, but the spark is just not there. And I'm tired of the broken promises and feeling completely unappreciated and disrespected. I feel like a total asshole.

Don't do it. Remember your vows. Life is not promised to feel good. Stick with it. Your actions aren't free of consequences and the consequences will take you by surprise and you will be so sorry you did it. Have wisdom - she is good to you, even if it doesn't feel that way.

I'm moving into my new apartment building, and it made me so sad that I didn't even know that my sister had lived there with her ex girlfriend. So many years, I could have had an awesome relationship, but I was too busy getting screwed over in Columbus, Ohio to care.

I miss my dad so fucking much. He was such a wonderful person, why did he have to get brain cancer and die? I feel like a part of me will be missing forever. :(
