Advice please.

How do I get the cat to stay off the counter? He jumps up there every time I make food, and no amount of scolding or hand clapping gets him to budge. The only way is to pick him up and put him down, but then I'm all covered in cat hair and cat hair is flying around my food and he just jumps right back up anyway.

I should add this isn't my cat, it belongs to my roommates so I had nothing to do with its training or lack thereof.

get a spray bottle and spray him with water whenever he jumps up. he'll learn that jumping up = getting sprayed.

Eat it. That will teach it not to jump up on the counter.

For those who bike in skirts, how do you keep your skirt from flying up? I mean even if I didn't care about people seeing my undies, I kind of hate when I can't see where I'm going due to my skirt flying in my face.

Lol, I'm dumb. I'll just attach a clip on earring to the edge and that should weight my skirt down.

See, idg this question because I bike in skirts and dresses alllll the time and I don't have this problem! Does this actually happen to you, or is it what you think will happen? sorry that sounds kind of rude but I just don't know how that happens, haha.

It has happened! Especially near this one building in town, it's notoriously breezy there for some reason, and a gust of wind will actually catch my skirt and it will balloon out and omg. It only happens when I'm wearing a flippy skirt, not an a-line or pencil skirt, those are just fine for me.

I took my cat outside on a harness ONCE and now he whines and cries constantly to go out. Should I take him out when he's whining or what? I don't want to reinforce his annoying behaviour but I've been waiting 5 days and still every day he claws at the door and freaks out.

My cat does that too. Annoying, right? First of all, is he neutered? With my cat, I've taken to distracting him indoors when he starts yeowling to go outside. I use one of those stick/string/feather toys. So far it's working. I take him outside still, but only when he's a good boy and doesn't cry at the door.

my kitchen is technically an eat in kitchen, there's a big corner of space. i used to have this small table there but it was my roommates and she took it when she left.
so now I can't decide if I should get a bar height table or something or if I should get a microwave cart thing?
i need some kind of table space because there isn't a lot of counter space. idk this seems obvious to answer but if anyone can think of specific furniture pieces that'd be great

that isn't a bad idea. or maybe a kitchen island thing. i have a wood butcher space on my counters though so I wouldn't necessarily need the wood bit
