How do you see yourself in the future? Where would you like to be, what would you like to be doing, who would you like to be with, etc.

future post, [dickfish]

i do entertain fantasies of making just enough money to disappear off to new zealand, build a hobbit hole outside of a city somewhere, close enough to bike to but far enough to feel isolated, and grow my own vegetables and everything. just sustain myself and live there and write in seclusion. it would amazing.

Both josh and I were talking about how buying this house has changed our plans.

We were going to buy a "starter" home, live there for five years, until he's getting paid his full rate, and then move to one of the ritzier areas of town.

Instead I think we're planning on making this house our "real" home, and putting in some significant upgrades. We're already talking about where to put the hot tub.

PLUS if we stay with this house we'll be able to buy a cottage in the next seven years, which is WAAAY better than a house on the lake, imo.

This is about future stuff, anon! I mentioned it earlier and probably should not have, but this post is for stuff like that! I don't have a whole lot of plans, otherwise, for the future :/

I've seen the same sort of turn around in a lot of friends. It seems fairly common.

I'm always jealous of Josh, he has very little issue with finding motivation for both work (and the sometimes 70-80 hour work weeks) and art.

But maybe it'll change once you get a bit more established in your job? I hope so, you're a fantastic artist.

After my roommate gets married and we go our separate ways I'll most likely move to Minneapolis or New York. And then eventually Canada.
