I pretty much see myself doing exactly what I've been doing for the last two years, only more successfully. It's headed in that direction. I'm lucky that I get to work at a job I love with all of my favorite people.
oh that does suck :/ but you're right, the fact that you're that happy with what you're doing is fantastic and something most people don't get to experience so I'll bet it's worth it.
I see myself settled into a job, hopefully the one I have now. I'd like to buy a house, somewhere kind of in the country, but not too far out of the way. I'd love that house to have a big screened in porch area, a bit of land and a few bedrooms. No kids, but I would like to find someone to settle down with, but he absolutely must love animals because I plan to add dogs to my kitty clan once I get a house.
I'm glad that you're liking your job! I cannot remember if I said that before, buy that's awesome :)
I looooove a big porch. I'm so excited, ours is a wraparound porch and there's a little trellis to block the sun/block the view, so I can sit behind it and stare creepily at people walking by.
well I am graduating this fall, and I want to be working after that. Selling art. I will probably stay in the LA area for at least several years, because I sort of have to. If I can manage to stay in the studio I have now, I'd like to live here for quite a while. I have no expectations as far as being married or having kids in the foreseeable future.
Well, next week we move into our dream house. It's seriously perfect, there's so many little quirks about it and ALL of them are great.
Next year we hope to start traveling more. I think we want to go to Barbados next February and Iceland in August.
I don't know if I'm stick with this job. High stress + low pay is not making me feel very much fulfillment, and I would have left two years ago if I was working for anyone other than my dad.
iceland, cool! you should start looking around for other jobs. do you have a degree in anything? (not trying to be bitchy just asking to see what kind of other stuff you could do)
I don't have a degree in anything, unfortunately. I'm not adverse to going back to school, but I am not sure what I would take. I have a pretty solid administrative/accounting background and most of the companies I deal with here have given me job offers before. One of them is josh's employer as well, it'd be neat to work at the same place :)
I will probably stay in Atlanta for the next five years or so. I need to make a decision about my career path since I don't think I have what it takes to be a good journalist. But I've been thinking about majoring in political science and maybe doing photojournalism. I really would like to grow more as a photographer.
photojournalism would be awesome, i bet. and ia about wanting to grow more as a photographer, though for me i don't really see it ever being part of my career. it would be nice though.
