The little things...

Jun 10, 2010 12:28

What are the little things in life that make you happy? What about the little things that just piss you off, seemingly for no good reason? Are there any people that either make you happy or angry for no good reason?

ksup reminded me that, back when i worked at rite aid, i used to get so, so excited when people would have .41 cents in their total. it meant they had to give me one of every coin!

unless they were jerks and gave me like four dimes and a penny or something. lame.

OH SEMANTICS. every US coin (quarter, dime, nickel, penny), and even better if it's $1.91, and they give me a dollar coin and a fifty cent piece, too! ;)

I hate when I'm driving and nothing is on the radio like LITERALLY NOTHING so I'll reluctantly switch over to a CD that I've already become bored with and listen to the LEAST BORING and then go back to the radio, and realize that EVERY station has come back from commercial and have started playing really good songs but they're just about to end FUCK.

This morning my cat came in my room super early and was being all snuggly and purring and wanting me to pet her when she's usually antisocial and doesn't like people and it was so cute

My friend adopted a dog from a greyhound rescue, and it's just fascinating watching her "grow" into her personality, even though she's already three years old. They've had to work a lot with her and it's taken awhile, but she's so quirky and friendly now, it's amazing. That makes me really happy.

how can a dog be quirky

Well, her facial expressions are kind of strange. And you can tell her mood by how her ears are (sometimes they hang down, sometimes one is up, sometimes both are, sometimes they're flat on her head). She also drags around a blanket with her from room to room, refuses to chase anything other than her brother, and when she isn't allowed on the couch, she makes a sighing noise like she's exasperated or something.

Maybe quirky is the wrong word to use, she's just different than a lot of dogs that I have met.
