I want more thanksgiving

I roasted a chicken last night and it turned out really well, is roasting a turkey any different really?

I think you need to be way more vigilant with basting it and re-juicing it and stuff because they're way thicker/deeper than a chicken. So they dry out on the outsides while the insides are cooking. I can usually just pop in a chicken and cook the entire thing without checking up on it, but a turkey needs to be re-covered in juices and stuff a bunch.

working at the theater in a completely different city from my parents or my best friend, either of whom I normally feast and hang out with :'(

prospects are very bleak...may involve me cooking and eating an entire turkey by myself...idk

THANKSGIVING WAS A MONTH AND A HALF AGO and I had a delish turkey dinner with my fam, grandma, aunt and uncle, cousin, and a couple family friends.

Seriously though it is Christmas time now.
