my best friend is selfish and did not seem to inherit the common courtesy gene everyone is born with. how can i make him realize that he is being selfish all the time without saying outright 'you are selfish'?
he's not doing so hot in school so he might lose his scholorship. losing his scholorship means he cant go to school here anymore and has to go back to jersey which will be very very hard. every time he gets a test back or sees any of his grades he stresses the fuck out and gets all depressed and omg its so sad. he has all thes engineering classes so i cant help him with anything because idk how. he already has a tuutor and hes doing everything he can but nothing seems to work :/ its all just really frusterating and a little depressing and i just really hate seeing himthis way. :(
:( that's tough. school stuff is shitty and really hard when there is all that stress. i lost my scholarship after spring semester last yr and i was supposed to lose it after fall (based on grades) so maybe he'll have time to change majors/bring his GPA up?
hes trying to bring his gpa up but he refuses to change his major. being an engineer is like his dream so he wont change it even though it would probably be a smart thing to do
blahh changing his major is definitely the thing to do i hope he realizes... i was bio last year and did SO. BAD. and now i'm starting taking courses to be a psych major and it's soo much better because i understand/can handle the work and everything.
I hate the way my SO dresses. His wardrobe ages him, especially since he mostly wears his work stuff on non-work days. What happened to that cute young man? I miss the t-shirt + nicely-fitted jeans days.
