My friend in-name-only, soopageek, is one of those cyclical types who should serve as a shining example to those who aren't serious about backing up data. Every few years, his storage fails and he has to go back to his tapes to upload his 30 or so TB of goatse and robot porn. It seems as though your two fuckwits (cane guy, judging lady) need to focus a bit more on the 'being only vaguely aware of the people around them' part of themselves. EITHER be a self-absorbed, sub-intellectual fuckwit who minds his own business OR be selfless with a full heart and interact with others. Not both.

I had to look up "grot". Did you mean "dirty" or "a comfortable cave"?

In hindsight it seems to me that it doesn't matter which I meant, because all of his posts are thematically either dirty or about comfortable caves, or more usually both.

"Blogging a dead horse" is probably the most brilliant thing I've read in a very long time. Be sure to let Sam know her ghost-writing did not go unnoticed.

re: being published authors. In hindsight, my regret is that it didn't occur to me at the time to suggest/request that one of lossfound's pieces also be included in that book. While I'm sure he really doesn't care and likely would have vehemently opposed it, it would've made for a trifecta of awesomeness for the three of us to be in it.

I addressed this at the time by making sure all three of us were mentioned in my bio. I think I even used the temporal term "attorneys-at-lulz". So to a limited extent, we are in a smaller way an in print trifecta for ever.
