To make a product raw material needs to be mined or harvested. Mining equipment and farming equipment use fuel.
Shipping by boat, train, truck, to a processing plant,  they all use fuel, and add a fuel surcharge.
Raw materials are processed, factory's use utility's.
Materials are then sent to a molding, machining shop, shipping plus fuel surcharge.

This Thursday the government is having a meeting with "Big Oil" company's of the tax breaks they are getting.
The oil company's bring oil to market where it is auctioned, they have no control of selling price.
When the market price is run up, they get profit.
When the market price is kept down, not so much.

A smaller displacement engine makes a higher pitch sound.
A larger displacement engine makes a lower pitch sound.

The same goes for larger and smaller rotor blades and the angle the blades are set at.
A good part of the noise a helicopter makes is the rotor moving air, not so much engine noise.
