over-reaching government

They don't mention the toxic material in the CFL light bulbs.

Are they going to haul all the old CFL light bulbs to Yucca mountain like the nuclear waste ?
They don't assemble the CFL light bulbs here. They have toxic materials inside. So it does nothing to create jobs, here.

Do you know what the recommended clean-up procedure is if you break a CFL light bulb in the house ?  Is this a ploy to give haz-mat crews more work ?
Think of the work hours that will be lost.
"hello, I will be a few hours late to work today. why ? I broke a CFL light bulb. Yep, government regulations. I'll need a day off work next week to get new carpet installed also. OK see ya when I see ya."

Notice they don't replace light bulbs in a workplace during working hours.
What if a florescent light bulb broke ? They have to evacuate the building!
A highrise building, the windows don't open!
An inner room without windows, they sealed off of the room, bricked up the doorway, sealed forever!

I really don't think our PUBLIC SERVANTS are coming up with these ideas.

People go to political fundraisers and BUY the attention of those in public office. I'll guess those fundraiser events are sorta like when the children go to see Santa Claus at the department store. Telling them what they want, so the store stocks those items. They probably always remind the politician how much money they paid for the dinner / donation. I think people with much money wish for different things than those without a lot of money.

I know one politician would have a meal at a local diner often, yet he only heard from those who went there and talked with him.

Now days the politicians might be heckled with emails.

Heckled by olde ninny's, or those who act like one.
