Yay! posty pooooooosts! I have had the desire to do somewhat of the same! I end up feeling like what I have to talk about is boring and no one would really care about it. Then I tell myself that it doesn't matter as long as I'm happy with it blah blah blah. I want more friends to post so I have people to comment toooo! Doug, I'll comment on yours more too :p

Love loves!

In some ways, depression-as-muse is a two-edged sword in ways outside of the bleeding obvious. It is easy to be prolific when you are in the dumps, entirely too easy. You almost can't stop yourself from outpouring stuff. Just, well, most of the stuff isn't that good. It can be tolerable. It can be passionate. It just often comes across as stilted and too directed in purpose (to either let others know how you feel or to try and make others miserable) to really breathe. See all 2000 poems I wrote while depressed.

It's good to write from a more stable place in mind. Because then you can be critical of what you put down on paper.
