Unlike Cavilo, Jenny is most certainly not on her guard. Oh, she'll respond to threats within a moment's notice. But there's no reason to be paranoid about them when there's so much to see.
She reaches for Cavilo's hand to lead her through the crowds, glancing back briefly. "It looks brilliant, Lara!"
"There are so many places I haven't been that it'd be daft to go to the same place twice."
Except, of course, she wanted to bring a friend with her. That's an exception, a very important exception.
Pausing for a moment to eye some local wares, Jenny nodded. She wasn't particularly hungry, but trying new foods was something else typically fun. "Okay."
About eight minutes later they're seated at a little table framed by a delicate potted tree of some kind, graceful multilayered fronds shading from lavender to blue and back again. It doesn't look like any kind of Earth-authentic plant she's ever seen; vaguely Cetagandan, maybe, only it isn't quite sculptured enough.
The server sets down a menu and a glass of water in front of each of them, and wafts off.
