I have 46,738 words written. Over 5000 of those were done today.

That means I have 3262 words left until I make the 50k mark.

Screw it, I'm gonna go for broke. I'm finishing NaNo tonight.

In overall novel news, I'm nearly done with chapter eight. I really struggled with this one, and still am. The examination scene was so boooooring to write. Guh ( Read more... )

ah,so that was you! gotcha, i'll friend back in just a moment. Sorry, paranoia is alive and well in my world. *Grins*

While I was in the UK a few weeks ago I did a death defying leap, ended up hanging from a lock gate by that shoulder to avoid being crushed...its been giving me a spot of bother since, and as i went shopping with a work colleague and his kids (christmas for the kids, they needed to be seperated to by gifts for each other) and ended up wiht a heavy basket and occasionally kids swinging from it for an hour. WAsn't going to say no to a four year old mind you.

I'm not sure yet what I'm gonna start with. Probably The Resistance stuff since it's all shorts, can definitely/most probably be worked into BF prompts, and is TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY NOT RELATED TO ZOMBIES.

Oooh, Pele Projects! PLEASE tell me one of those is the infamous women one you keep hinting at. Ever since you've mentioned it I've been waiting for it to pop up in a Borders somewhere. *grins*

One of them is my women of questionable virtue, yes. That is more of a collection of smaller tales.
There is also my version of Crossroads, one about a girl who doesn't know she's a hunted spiritualist witch, and then the epic about the evolution of "monsters" (witches, were's, undead, humans, others of my creation) starting at the beginning of Earth as we know it.
These are all mapped out on story arches, chapter arches, and even a couple sequel arches. All I have to do is plug in the words. Easy...right?

Okay, maybe it wasn't so funny but I just woke up and my coffee is still too hot to drink!!!
