Milagro bumps into Merrill right as she's exiting the bathroom- it probably doesn't help that milagro cut that corner ridiculously quick. She fumbles for a moment, the impact almost made her lose her shiny green ring, but she manages to slide it back onto her finger rather than losing it.]

Oh-- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I should have been watching where I was going.

[kjdfs Merrill had not been expecting that-- it startled her a little.]

You should have! [She gives Merrill an intense frowny face glare--

then laughs, and grins.]

[Milagro's sudden switch relaxes her a little-- that's good to know, at least.]

I'm glad that there wasn't any damage done. I wouldn't want to do that.

[Charles is wheeling around the dorm floor to get back to his dorm and sees the young woman. He finds her appearance quite strange, yet beautiful. Exotic might be the better word. She was an elf. After some of the people and beings he'd met here the shock wasn't as great, but it was still amazing to realize it either way.

She looked disoriented, confused. She must be new.]

Is there anything I can help you with? You look lost.

[She's a bit startled when she hears his voice, but-- at least whoever it is seems helpful!]

Oh-- well... I suppose I am a bit lost. I woke up not too long ago.

[She nods, and-- shakes his hand? That's what humans do, right? Oooh, you'd think she'd be sure about this sort of stuff after living in Kirkwall after all those years.]

I read the note, but it was sort of hard to believe. I don't think Hawke would have let Thedas be destroyed like that. [She was worried about Hawke. They had been together when they left Kirkwall.] It's good to know that I'm not alone, at least. I wouldn't want to be alone in a place like this-- as long as the people here were nice. ... Oh... no,this isn't a costume. If I were going to wear a costume, I would try to look like a tree. [SHE IS... completely serious? And her voice has a sliiiightly dreamy sound to it, although it's not anything big.] I didn't realize berries set a low bar for that sort of thing.

[And then there's a familiar gauntleted hand reaching out to stop Merrill from bumping into a familiar spiky-armored person.]

[It takes a second for her to realize that the familiar hand belonged to Fenris, and she turns to look at him. She's actually somewhat glad to see someone familiar, even if Fenris wasn't her first choice when it came to seeing someone from home.]

I'm not deformed, insane, or attacking everyone, am I? I'm sure we'll be fine.

[He doesn't exactly know how to feel about seeing Merrill here. She just makes the place more dangerous, doesn't she? Plus...it's kind of dangerous to her, too. Not that he'll admit that.]

Should I be relieved to hear that?

Why haven't you put your normal clothes back on? Weren't they with you when you awoke?

I think so, unless you want me to be an abomination. And these are my normal clothes. Hawke gave them to me. I've been wearing them for awhile. [She'd only been wearing them for a long time-- surely Fenris could remember that, right?]
