Yeah--this is pretty much the fic I've been waiting for / needing to read after seeing and obsessing over that preview.

You managed to tie in all the hurt and worry and awfulness that we saw in that short clip, while working our way towards hope and eventual comfort.

As usual, I love that the Glee kids (and in this case, teachers) are there for Kurt -- even when it's gently suggested that maybe they should give him some space. (Props to Santana for speaking out and recognizing that Glee is Kurt's family, in a way.) And I really like that you showed Kurt in the chapel -- not hating God, or denying his existence, but just NOT KNOWING. Asking for help because he doesn't know if God is there, doesn't have a good history with God if he is, but willing to do anything to help his father.

And on a similar note, I love the line where he says he'd accept anyone's help if it meant that his dad would get better. Coming from someone as fiercely independent as Kurt... :'(

I had to write it because I was like seriously freaking out after I saw the preview.

One thing I really love about you is that you always know just what it is I'm trying to get across. You pick up on subtly and I love it.

Yes, Santana I thought would be the most straight forward in that scenario. But yes, Kurt just doesn't know.

Yes, Kurt is independent, but he loves his father, needs him, and he'd take any help he could get if it would help his father.

Thanks so much darling, I'm glad you liked it!

Personally, I saw the episode and rather enjoyed it more than this. Usually I love your fics -- and after seeing said episode, this is the topic I needed to see, given you're the angst queen to me -- but I was a little disappointed in comparison. Sorry about that ( ... )
