UGHHHHH. It's not even Artie's parents that I hate in this, it's their complete ignorance that they've even said anything wrong. Personally, I think that's the worst kind of insult.
I just had to let at least one sentence out and I held back a lot of anger :p Anywho, this was a great story, as always, and I love the Kurt/Santana friendship. Ever since I noticed that smug look Santana tossed to Rachel during Defying Gravity I've wanted to write friendship fic where they become close and go around snarking on everyone's clothes and stuff :D
I think the part that made the most angry with them was when Artie's mom went over to talk to Kurt, like she was going to what? comfort him or something? She was the problem! grr!
That's exactly what she thought. Like if she just went over all reasonable and even voiced, he'd just go "Oh well, it's ok then. Really it's not me, its my rampant teenage hormones."
Yes there needs to be more Santana/Kurt friendship fics, I've only read one so far, and it is excellent but I would like others!

What makes the whole thing sadder/worse was the fact that Artie's parents thought they were being the reasonable ones and that they were acting in their son's best interest. It's sad but true in many cases. This sort of homophobia is the worst because "they are not homophobic, they just don't want f**s contaminating their straight environment" Sorry, deep thoughts are deep but it's your fault for writing such a great fic. Loved Finn's flashbacks to the basement incident and Santana defending Kurt like that. As usually, fantastic, heartbreaking fill.

Ah yes, Kurt/Santana friendship I actually like. I like Santana and want to see more with her, but I think the two of them could be awesome together.
