So, you know that I love all of your fics- even the ones I also hate. But I think I have a soft spot for this one, 'cause I simply love how it's the guys getting all protective and concerned. I adore the Artie/Kurt friendship, hints of Finn/Kurt brotherhood, and you've just reminded me why Puck/Kurt is my OTP. Thank you, darling. I really loved this one.
Yes, Artie/Kurt friendship is the win. And the brotherly Finn/Kurt stuff I like much more than Kinn actually, so that pleases me...but Puck/Kurt is my otp as well, so I had to go back to my roots. ;)
Thanks so much, I'm so glad you liked it! But worry not, more angst is so in the works...maybe, if I can get my muse back in gear!
There really needs to be more Artie/Kurt anything in the world. And I've complete fallen in love with the brotherly Finn/Kurt dynamic- I've distanced myself from considering them a pairing, and although I may be a multi-shipper, Puck/Kurt makes my heart sing.
AWESOME! YES! -punches air- Has your muse decided that any of the dozens of prompts of mine you've taken are shiny enough to write?
Yes, and since Michelle totally ships Artie/Kurt, I suspect I'll have to write some of that for her. ;)
Ah, my muse is still being fussy, and making things difficult. I think I have like three or four of yours though.
I think before anything, if my muse cooperates, I may be able to get another chapter of Eight days a Week out before trying to tackle another actual prompt or story.
I have to admit, I'm kinda in love with the idea of Kurt having his own army of gleeks. :-D Also I kind wanna see Puck "talk" to Kurt's bullies after a perticula rough dumpster toss. I am aware that this makes me a horrible person, but I can't bring myself to care.
Even when your muse is fighting you, the results are lovely.
I have such a soft spot for the Gleeks protecting their own, and this let me take in Finn, Puck, and Artie as they contemplate Kurt's injuries. And while you KNOW that I have absolutely no problems with seeing our boys Puck and Kurt in a relationship, I like that you chose to set this story outside of any pairings. It makes his reaction to the bullying even more intriguing. By his own admission, Puck isn't even friends with Kurt, and yet his protective instincts are going full gear. If I squint with one eye, it's purely platonic, and if I squint with the other, Puck is in a heap of denial. Either way, I'm one happy gal.
Yes, Puck/Kurt is always good, but this story was just sort of...Puck going "Oh yeah, I guess if you grab someone hard enough they bruise..." Also, for a while in the beginning, Kurt seemed to be his favorite target, it could be a territorial thing ;)
Thanks so much hon, I really appreicate your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
