Wow that was different I like the different take even if I hate what happened to Kurt and that Burt was a mean drink. Very well done as always. :)

Not only do I want to wrap Kurt up in a big security blanket of warmth and love (and maybe throw Puck in there while I'm at it), I want to give you a big, big hug.

While I doubt Kurt would appreciate it, (Or maybe he would) when he's in my stories, perhaps he should be covered in bubble wrap.

I'd appreciate a big hug actually.

Thanks so much for your comment, I'm so happy you liked it.

Why is it that I could totally picture this as something that would truly happen? And as much as I love Burt, he's a great dad and all, I just couldn't help but think that he's 'too' perfect...That maybe someday, in a future episode, we'd see him suddenly crack...

I'd hate to admit this, but yes, I would not bat an eye if the writers would take this route with Burt.

Angst aside...I love this...

That's the thing, at least in my head too. He's such a good dad, but the death of his wife clearly messed him up. I kind of hope we never see him crack though.

Thank you so much, and I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!

... why do I have the feeling that I know who was driving the car?

:(

Because you're smart.

Actually that wasn't my actual intention, because yeah that probably would have lead to jail time, but it did kind of come across that way.

Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Oh god. This.
I can't help but get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach telling me Burt was driving that car that mowed down Kurt. D:
This needs a sequel, because really as wonderful as this story is, I can't help but feel like its unfinished. Like I know that once you find out a dark secret like that about someone like Burt, its hard to see them in the same regard as you did before and I wonder how Finn would handle that. Also, this makes me a horrible person but I wanna see Burt have a relapse after a bad fight with Carole maybe? and get drunk and violent and ruff Kurt up a bit before Finn comes to save the day! But Kurt is all understanding like "this is a process and some times he is going to falter".
I am a horrible person, and I acknowledge this

The only issue with Burt having driven the car, was then he probably would have either gone to jail, or lost Kurt for a while...but who knows, court mandated counseling could be why he got help in the first place.

Well I purposefully left it open ended so you could draw your own conclusions. A relapse is an interesting idea though. I dunno, I may consider it.

You are not a horrible person, you are simply an angst whore. Welcome to our ranks!

Thanks darling, I really appreicate your comment and I'm happy you enjoyed it!
