That was great. I really wished they had this sort of confrontation on the show, after Finn rescued Kurt. Artie was awesome, they need to interact more.
"...and while Finn knew they had a long way to go..."
THIS. Not only did I enjoy this spin on the episode, but I really appreciated the sentiment. I don't think Finn is evil, and I've actually felt pretty sympathetic towards him lately. Springing a new home on someone? Not cool. But his words--no matter how 'in the heat of the moment' they were--were just unjustifiable. Then you take it a step further (and, I might add, really sold me on that step!) and add the increasing anger / physical element to it. So while I love the final conversation the two boys have, and while I love the hopeful note you end on, what I REALLY love is the acknowledgement that shit like that will take time and effort to overcome.
Now excuse me while I climb off my soapbox. :)
Also, in regards to badass!Artie: can I get a "preach"?
Wondeful job at staying true to the tone and feel of the show.
Yes, I know some people kinda think Finn was justifiable in his anger, and I agree with that to a point. He took it to a level it shouldn't have gotten too, and no matter the situation, that words not ok. I do hope the show handles it well and not just...oh well they are back to normal, but who knows.
I'm so glad you liked it love, and thanks so much for your comment!
