This was great as usual. You write Kurt hurt so well that I'm starting to think you secretly hate him (kidding, of course). I love the little touch at the beginning when Will was the one who saw him perform. :)

Alas, I do not hate him, in fact, he is my favorite, which is unfortunate for him. I like to torture my favorites. I have no idea why, I'm sick in the head I guess.

Will I figured should be the one, it was originally going to be he sings then leaves, but I figured that would be a nice touch.

I think so too. Like I said before, Finn says they're friends, but it seems pretty one-sided. Finn bitches and Kurt listens to him bitch.

I feel like I fail every time I comment on your story, because I don't have anything new to write, you heard it all; heartbreaking, wonderful, beautiful, amazing...

I wish Will (or some other gleek) saw the performance but I have a feeling that he would think he was the one that put the idea in Kurt's head with his pep talk. Oh, WIll, love you bb, but you kinda fail a lot when it comes to Kurt.

Puck was heroic in a way that made me love him all over again - not that I ever stopped loving him. And he got to be there for Kurt again, when he told Burt to be there for his son.

You put all those little things that make the story even angstier for Kurt, like his dad not being there when he woke up, not picking up his phone or spending his time with Finn even when Kurt is in the hospital.

I agree with that, he does fail with Kurt, and the worst part is he doesn't realize he's doing it.

I needed some Purt, even in the friendship capacity. I'd written a few stories that had little to no Puck, I was bringing him back!

Ah Angst, it is my long time friend and I wield that sword angstily.

this left a pang of hurt in my heart. you kept all emotions and dialogs realistic enough to be intense but not over-the-top - just the right amount of the right things at the right times. that was wonderful. :)
