It's that time again guys! Let's discuss!
This chapter broke my heart, but what else is new?
Gah, every time we get a chapter that focuses on Vincent I end up loving him even more. Even when he's doing bad things! I can't help it. *hangs head in shame*
(
How do I love thee, Vincent? Let me count the ways... )

Except that we don't know what the Jujub bird looks like. You know what... after looking again, and reading up a bit more, I think it may be a Borogove. Carroll described it as an extinct type of parrot, a thin bird with feathers sticking out all over. Could be a giant skeletal version? Except that at "brillig" (4:00ish) they were "mimsy", and I wouldn't describe Demios in that way... BUT "BEWARE THE JUJUB BIRD" MAKES MUCH SENSE.
Ho dang. It's possible. We're just gathering more and more evidence. I love discussions, so I don't have to research by myself.
Nothing has come up for Zwei to have to choose, but if the situation arises, I wonder what she will do. I don't really like Zwei because I sympathize with Echo too much. But I like her enough to be happy when I see her lurking around! XD

And I just had a thought. Being a Baskerville, Zwei's body is "immortal." But when she changes into Echo, does that "immortality" (and all the Baskerville qualities) stay or is it exclusive to Zwei only? Since Echo got poisoned before, I'm thinking it's exclusive to Zwei, but I just find that weird >.< And in the first place, we still don't know how they came to inhabit the same body.
So yeah, sorry for ranting here XD

That time Echo seemed to be genuinely affected by the poison so she seems human... I'm thinking that maybe Zwei's immortality is either lessened or simply nonexistent because of Echo. Lily was able to recover from a fatal gunshot within seconds, but when Gil shot Zwei in the shoulder, it took nearly 30 chapters for her to recover from it, shown here.
Since it's a split personality, I'd assume that they were born that way. It probably had something to do with Alyss. After all, Zwei is a Baskerville...

Ya know what? I can't decide whether I love Vincent for being so ... sweet? To Gil and Elliot, or hate him for being so goddamn ... stupid? I don't want him to dieeeeeee, or dissapear, or whatever.
Well. Vince did have a sort of good reason to kill to Duke Nightray, and I was totally cheering him on during.
I'm really curious to know what will happen when and ... if? Leo goes through with this. I'm secrety hoping that Chain!Elliot will appear ...
Overall, a really sad chapter. But I loved it.

Yeah! More Echo!
Be frustrated because he's being so stupid and self-loathing. XD
Well I know I'm glad he killed Duke Nightray. I never really liked him anyway. He was friends with Zai Vessalius, how good could he be?
Wild Elliot appears! :D

Okay! /tries to look frustrated, only ends up looking constipated, and starts getting mental images of Vincent vi Brittania wherever the hell they are.
Good point. I began to feel really angry when D. Nightray opened his mouth, so I feel kind of happy.
Quick, let's catch him!

"I WANNA MAKE A PERFECT WORLD FOR NUNNALLY GIL!!!"
lol, I think Nightray just has that effect on people.... well... not anymore! 8D

Maybe he did it for the same reason he fake-tried to kill Gil? Now that they all know it was Vincent, no one can accuse the new Duke Nightray of killing his family for the title.
(And incidentally, I'm so happy that we were all but told that Gil did indeed inherit the title. :D I hope that Mochizuki and the plot will go somewhere with it.)
This chapter really made me like Vincent. I mean, I've liked his and Gil's screwed-up relationship before this, but not Vincent especially. Now I just want to hug him. He actually liked Elliot! He'd do anything for Gil (well, we knew that already)! ;____; The Nightray brother trio really is tragic: Elliot is dead, Vincent is a walking half-mad self-hating tragedy and poor Gil has once again lost his family.

Well, somebody needs to step up and run the Dukedom, and Gil's the only Nightray... so Hopefully he'll have to take some duties on soon. But not too soon, because he's really stressed out right now.
I think everyone in Pandora Hearts is doomed to be tragic. ),:

they try to execute the cheshire cat and he has an argument with the king and queen because the cheshire cat has made his body disapear so he can't do his job.
i really hope vincent doesn't succeed, poor gil if he does he's his only family (though i suppose that's technicially always been the case blood relatives wise). If that is vincent's real plan, he does seem honest this time though. i don't think we've lost the old sneaky vincent as he casually mentions trying to get break killed while reminissing

Also, that could possibly explain why Demios looks so... scary and monstrous.
