Artist Statement, Invisible Red Thread of Luck

For better or worse, in less than twenty-four hours I will either be an official MFA candidate at NMSU, or in a great deal of trouble. Not that the two are of necessity mutually exclusive. But certainly I'd prefer to be at least the former.

Below the cut is my artist statement, a new piece, and a picture of a several week old kitten. Because I know my audience. )

I love the artist's statement, and the idea you're proposing. And I'd love to see your book. I'm not entirely sure about the offset screen printing, but I think that's just a personal bias from having worked on process printing while at Lotus, I think.

There's something kind of disturbing about the new print, which is probably by design.

An Illustrated Collection of Many Random Creatures is definitely the best title ever. does it have the umbrella demon in it?
