1. Lisa and I went to this democratic party shindig tonight. Fred Harris, George Nigh (who the student union at my college is named for), and David Walters spoke and Mrs. Seal from PC North sang the national anthem. It was cool. so who wants to get a job with me this summer driving down to county seats in oklahoma and photographing books at the courthouses for a giant evil oil company? If I'm gonna do it, I'd like some company at least.

I've been working on the until recently woefully inadequate wikipedia entry on the oklahoma city bombing, but some dude insists on including a special syrupy section called "the effect on children". I'm pretty sure it was awful for everyone, not only children and not especially children. Oh, open source! I can't believe it's almost been 10 years. ( Read more... )
