CruisingMy first cruise was actually when I was 13, on a cruise line that no longer exists, and most of the time when I'm listing my past cruises, I don't even include it. But I loved it and thought I would go on tons more. I ended not going on another one for over 20 years, but ( Read more... )

Wow Look at me all featured like.

Yes we totally need to get together in real life and stuff. One day I WILL get back to Rock Vegas. I swear I will. Our 12th night is in Rock Hill this year (God Willing and the creek don't rise) so hopefully I will be back in my old stomping grounds

And if I've ever down in your area I'll let you know! Frank has a friend who lives in Greenville, sometimes we go there. And, if you want to play the game (totally optional, of course!), here are your 5 things:
-SCA
-costuming
-Disney
-travel
-South Carolina

I guess it's just because I talk about them so much. Also sometimes I mention cruises my mom goes on, and she goes on way more than I do.

So, if you would like to play along, here are your 5 things:
-vegetarian
-working with kids
-art
-Connecticut
-Massachusetts

If you like trivia, you should check out Ringorang - Question Everything

http://qe.ringorang.com/

To play, sign up and follow @ringorang on Twitter, then install the client on your PC, you get one question an hour. Its a nice diversion for 30 seconds or so during the work day (and you don't really get penalized if you're not there to buzz in)

You can Twitter with the other players on the leader boards, there's sort of a fun trivia community developing. And they're just starting out, so they want a lot of feedback from the players, so they'll @ reply back to you if you have a problem or RT you if you make them laugh. And now they're doing live-chats to help make the experience better for everyone.

Damn, that really sounded like I'm shilling for them, lol. I seriously have nothing to do with the company, other than I just like the concept and won 20 Amazon bucks last week in a random drawing.

No, that's cool- thanks! I hadn't heard of that one. And since you're catching up on past posts, you probably saw the one where I said I'm trying out for Jeopardy in May, this is good idea.

You and my friend Chad aka hiddenpeanuts aka thunderclap8.

That confused me actually, because you both tweeted about Jeopardy tryouts on the same day. You mentioned getting in, but then he talked about a scheduling conflict a few hours later. Now I see that I wasn't crazy! Thanks!
