Cruising
My first cruise was actually when I was 13, on a cruise line that no longer exists, and most of the time when I'm listing my past cruises, I don't even include it. But I loved it and thought I would go on tons more. I ended not going on another one for over 20 years, but I am trying to make up for lost time! When my parents moved to Florida a few years ago, my mom got hooked on cruising, and that addiction has spread to the rest of our family. In the past 2+ years, I have been on 4 Carnival cruises and 1 NCL cruise.
Cats
I have always loved cats. I will be a crazy cat lady someday. Right now I have Sandy, Captain Crunch, and sometimes Gizmo; although lately Captain has been such a jerk whenever Gizmo comes around, that he doesn't seem to stop by as much these days.
Trivia :)
I've always been a trivia fan since I was a kid, watching game shows. For awhile I used to go to Hooters every Tuesday night and play Team Trivia with a bunch of guys I was friends with. Now I play on-line trivia every day, and it's one of my favorite on-board cruise activities.

I can't believe I still have not met her in person after all this time. I've gotten to know her from LJ, and of course FB and trivia, and even using her services as a travel agent. Plus we have lots of mutual friends! I'm sure we will meet in person one day (we don't live *that* far apart) but until then I'm glad to at least know her in the on-line world.

Charlotte, NC is where I landed 8 and a half years ago when my ex-husband's job got transferred. I stayed here after we got divorced because I liked it, and I like it even more now. I used to think living here was just as good as living anywhere else. Lately, with the economy being such a mess, something I phrase it a little less optimistically- it's no worse than living anywhere else.
