Brewing potions remains the only consistently-interactive part of Pottermore right now.  When users make it all the way through the story, they’re free to peruse it and all its unlocked exclusive goodies at will, but these can only be re-read and stared at so much - it loses its appeal and novelty quickly.  So there are potions to keep us occupied ( Read more... )

One of the few truly interactive parts of Pottermore is the ability to practice spells and duel other users around the world to earn House points.  Wizard's Duel is already a very popular part of the Pottermore site -- too bad it's not working.

The user profile is sort of the home base for each user.  You can access this by clicking on the shield in the center of the gate with your House mascot.

As stated in the book, Ollivander only uses 3 different magical substances as cores in his wands, though a reason as to why only three - and specifically only the following three - was never explained.  As far as I can tell, the only time we ever get a glimpse of Ollivander discussing his preferred method of wand-making is during the 4th book, ( Read more... )
