[All in all, things could be worse. It's not that Squalo is a natural optimist, far from it, but he keeps repeating that mantra in a vain attempt to maintain his sanity. However, he's starting to think he's jinxed himself. Things keep getting worse. Being abducted stung his pride, but he was alive and figured he could deal with it.
