Back in Hayo's world, waaay before anyone in the DR was probably alive (minus legendaries of course) there existed Hayo in his comfy hidden underwater castle. He'd lived there alone with a few water pokemon changeling's that would tend to him. As time went on he eventually gained a few humans that had been sacrificed or fallen into the water.
